hi, first timer here, and good forum btw. now to the point... i want to know whether CWS_TINY0 is spyware or malware, and how for the love of god to get rid of it? (you can most probably tell that i've been trying for a long time now)

Hi legoman786, welcome to BC

CoolWebSearch is a real bear to get rid of. It has many variants and is changing all the time. The best advice I can give is to submit a HiJack This log and let our experts help you.

Have a look at How to submit a Hijackthis Log and give that a try. If you do post a log, please be patient as the HJT team are volunteers and will get to you as soon as they can. Please only post your log and a description of the problems you are noticing and wait for a reply. If you make more than one post it will delay their response as they look for posted logs with no replies and your second post will look like a reply.
