Hello BC!
My mom recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron 518, and upgraded it with a GeForce 9500GT. As I write this, I am on this very PC. She has a Dell E152FP monitor running at its native resolution of 1024 x 768. The card has 2 DVI-I ports, and the monitor is VGA only. So, we are using a DVI-I adapter on one of the ports.
However, the graphics are kind of fuzzy. Although not unbearable, they are mediocre in comparison to my eMachines W3611, which is running on an 8400GT, VGA monitor-VGA port on card.

Any suggestions?

You could try turning on Clear Type.

Right-click on the desktop, then Left-click Properties.

Select the Appearance tab and then the Effects button.

Make sure the second one down has Clear Type selected.

Hit OK once, twice, etc.

Good luck.
