Howdy,

Somehow I managed to get my desktop icons to appear verticaly on the right side of my screen.

Here is a screen shot.

I would like to have things the way they were before I goofed up.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Click on a blank spot on the Task Bar and hold the button down.
Then drag it to the bottom of the screen - once there you'll see the outline in it's usual place - then just let go of the mouse.

Thanks for the reply.

I moved my cursor arrow over to the far right and left clicked on a clear area. I then dragged down to the bottom of my screen and released. Nothing happened.

I am assuming (bad thing sometimes) that the vertical bar on the right is my task bar ???

Thanks,

Dennis

Try right clicking on the TaskBar to see if it's "locked". If so, unlock it (by clicking on the check mark to remove it) and then try moving the it again.

Well, I have been playing around with it and here are my results.

I now have a big horizontal bar stretching across my screen.

HMMM, I think I messed up again.

Any advice ?

Thanks,

Dennis :flowers:

EDIT: Just wanted to report back on my good fortune. I played around for an hour or so right clicking, left clicking and dragging things around and got things back to normal. Somehow.
