Hi, I installed an Epson SX100 printer a couple of months ago and it works fine, but unfortunately I then found that a lot of programs (games, simulations etc) won't close cleanly, I click to exit them but the following two error message boxes come up in quick succession with a beep and I have to close the boxes to end the prog which is a bit of a hassle.

I uninstalled the printer and the problem went away, but when I re-installed it the problem came back, so obviously installing the printers to blame in some way. (The boxes appear regardless of whether the printer's switched on or off)
Any suggestions to stop the boxes would be appreciated, thanks
PS- I'm WinXPHome

Did you totally uninstall the printer and software before downloading an updated driver from Epson's support site as usasma suggested before?

Yes absolutely.
Speaking of usasma, where's his reply gone, and where's my original question posted a month or so ago gone? It's not in my 'My topics list' any more. Does bleeping delete threads after a while or what, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong sub-forum?
