Sometimes when I am watching videos it just skips every so often and lags. Its getting on my nerves.
Is it because the computer is slow?
Its not because it is buffering as the videos are fully loaded and it still will play for a bit then all the sudden stop and jump.

Computer specs, please? Is your computer slow in general? I assume you're watching Youtube. The problem may be on their end. It's better than it used to be but still needs to improve.

Well its really bad with HD video:

Average of 70% cpu usage I saw after posting this.

Amd 3200 64
1200mb ram or more

Using firefox.

It did the same for me. So it's not you. It's either the clip itself or the website. Take your pick. I'm not familiar enough with Vimeo to know how good the site is.

I wiped my computer clean and the whole thing runs better now. The videos even play fine and do not skip.

oh I was going to say maybe your connection is slow or something but it was your pc...you should get ccleaner to clean your registry. It slows your pc down if you havent cleaned your registry....
