Someone installed a new server using Windows Server 2008 in our charity without asking pertinent questions. For two boot disks that require logging on to "server", there is a requirement that a specific logon be used. However, the person who set up the server named the server that name. I have been having trouble setting up a user with that name. Can you name a user with the same name as the computer?

You're not allowed to have the user the same name as the computer name, unfortunately.
