Hello everyone (from Australia),
I am getting a new laptop soon and after looking around this one with the 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450, appears to be in my price range.
http://configure.ap.dell.com/dellstore/con...021AU&s=dhs

Amongst the usual stuff it will be for Microsoft Flight Sim 04. With flight sim I want to be able to use the pmdg aircraft (747 and 737), as well as other add-ons like scenary etc.

Will this laptop be good for this, remember Im not after the best gaming technology just no "slideshowness"?

Thanks everyone

Laptops aren't usually the best for gaming. But the 3450 is more than adequate enough to handle a game from 4 years ago. Assuming the rest of the equipment is good enough (RAM, CPU speed) is high enough you will have no problems doing what you want with that game.

he didn't really say how much memory he was getting. the 256MB is just on the card and looking at the site its a choice between 3G and 4G of RAM, either is sufficient.
