I needed to re-install windows XP on one of my computers, but I don't have the disc anymore, it got lost years ago, so I downloaded Windows XP from a bittorrent site and installed it, but I'm not sure if it's safe to use a pirated copy of windows for the web. Is it? I'm using my old windows 2000 computer to post this. Also, I downloaded a program to activate windows, it worked fine for a while. But now when I boot up, windows tells me I have only a few days left to activate it, and when I click yes to activate it it says "Windows is already activated", what's gong on?

The following is one of the forum rules, please read it.

No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures. If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal the staff reserves the right to remove such content and/or ban the user. This would also mean encouraging the use or continued use of pirated software is not permitted, and subject to the same consequences.

You have not only downloaded a illegal copy of Windows XP, but have used an illegal means of obtaining a product code. Both of these are against our forum rules. I will have a moderator close this thread.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
