Hope its ok to ask, i get confused what files does dvd shrink in the file to work , keep using some that don t work , wasn t it only 3 or 4 and are there any converters that shrink won t use into files it will use
any ideas ! ? - thanks . . .

Hi Spunked.
DVDShrink uses compression algorithms the reduce file size (to the detriment of quality). The more you compress, the lower the quality. It's only capable, by design, of handling the DVD file format. (vob,bup,ifo)
There are plenty of file conversion apps out there, both free and pay, that will convert multimedia files to the dvd format that shrink can then handle. I use WinAVI and Magic Video Converter. Between the two, they will convert to>from most every current multimedia file type out there.

Ok i am going to try Win Avi and magic Video and see how shrink likes it ; if it can read the output file; do you have links out do i just google it - thanks . .
