I would like to know how I can get rid of the windows XP welcome page. I am the only user on my computer and I don't want to have to deal with this page all the time especially when I haven't been at my computer for a little while. Please help. Thanks Helen (beautiful British Columbia)

Hi hmvsmith, try start -> control panel -> user accounts or nav anyway you can (you might not have that shortcut set up) to the control panel then select user accounts. From here you will want to click the bottom option, [->] Change the way users log on or off.
On this screen you will have to uncheck the Use The Welcome Screen option. Hope it helps.
