Hi to my family at Bleepingcomputer !
I have a Emachine W3503, Windows XP Media Edition, SP2
The computer had many viruses, trogans, etc...
I got the computer clean and when I put AVG back on, and I ran it, something bad happened !!!
As I looked at what AVG found, it looked like system files, good ones.
One of the files I saw was lsass.exe, and it was in the right location. I quickly shut off the scan but I was too late.
Now, my computer goes to the Windows screen and before it goes into Windows, it just reboots. It continualy does this cycle, rebooting, but never going into Windows. I can't get into SAFE MODE because it does the same thing.
If I can't find the repair disk, am I out of a computer ?

I would contact eMachines for a system restore disk. It'll be cheaper than a new computer and cheaper than a copy of Windows.

I was affraid you were going to say something like that - lol.
Thanks for your reply !!!!!
Any clue why AVG would remove such system files ?
Do you think AVG is still a good product ? What would you suggest ?

I don't know why AVG would do that (although I've seen some similar issues in the past).
FWIW - I switched from AVG to Avast Free about 6 months ago and have been very happy with it.
