Some weird lines kepp coming up at the right of the screen

helloo.....sometimes... not always..there are some sort of straight lines that emerge from the right of the screen.. i am not sure what they are but they are like redish brownish in colour....

anyone know what they might be....

Do you have a speaker near that side of the screen? The magnet from the speaker may interfere with the electron beam that produces the pic on the crt.

man u r good..... i do have a speaker near.. and also i think that it only does it when the music is on.... so is it anything i have to worry about or is it okay even if it creates those lines..

Move the speaker a few inches away.

It won't hurt anything to leave the distortion there but it would probably be annoying.

The sub has a much stronger magnet!

No wonder it's interfering!

By the way - a subwoofer will work much better if its on the floor.

by the way... rite now my sub's volume was about midway and there was no music and a lil line came from the side.....
