xp anti virus 2009 thingy has weaseled its way into my comp. -_- I have used malware to remove it, but it didnt work (removed most of it though). After using it, I can only boot my comp into safe mode with networking. and when i run malware in safe mode, the same trojan.agent keeps popping up "hkey_local_machine\software\tdss". i have tried looking for it but i cannot find it. it keeps popping up everytime i reboot into safe mode and run malware. oh yeah, when i reboot, a blue screen would flicker for a mili sec and then i am presented with booting my comp into safe mode and etc.

please help. i apologize if this is the wrong forum. i have spent the whole night researching about this but none of the soltions i encountered have worked.

Hi!

Download ESET SysInspector
http://www.eset.com/download/sysinspector.php

- Start program through the SysInspector.exe
The program will collect information about the situation on your machine.
- When "inspector" is ready and log file - generated, select File> Save Log
- Confirm their wish

Choose to save the file somewhere and then upload on http://4storing.com/ (when you open the page, click on the Great Britain flag to open the page in English), then give me the link.

Your hijackthis log is posted here.

After posting a log, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the member assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic until you are cleared by the HJT Team. If you still need assistance after your log has been reviewed and you have been cleared, please PM me or another moderator and we will re-open this topic.

Good luck with your log.
