*ordinal 166

Okay, so I had IE8 beta 2 installed, because I was curious about the new changes, etc. Since some sites I use require IE, and IE8 was acting weird, I decided to uninstall the beta. It warned me that 'some programs might not work' after uninstalling, but I ignored it and proceeded to uninstall.

When I restarted my laptop it came up with the error iertutil.dll cannot be found. The taskbar was gone, all the icons were gone, but I could still access task manager. I went on my other computer to download the dll, put it on a flash, and copied and pasted back into my laptop. I fixed the problem, but now it shows that ordinal 166 cannot be found in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll

Help please?

Thanks in advance.

Windows XP MCE SP3 is what OS my laptop is using.

That's the problem with beta software - it can hose your system faster than malware!
