A few months after I purchased Rise of Atlantis from Grab.com, a Trymedia game, I began having problems with it , and the folks at Trymedia haven't a clue as to how to help me fix it . Here is what happens : I play the game , sometimes for a level, sometimes a couple of levels, and then suddenly the game screen turns white. This has also happened when I first open the game .At first I thought it was my anti-virus ( sigh...Norton) program, so I check the "program trust list" and found that it was "allowed" . My directX jumped through all it's hoops , and I am having no other game related problems. Changing compatability mode has not helped . And yes, I have thoroughly ( I ran a search to find all components, files etc...) removed/uninstalled and re-downloaded and re-installed this game several times...no avail. Any ideas as to why this is occuring, and how to fix it ? Kudos ! Twentycats

Determine what type of video card you have and then go to the manufacturers site and download the latest driver.

Info on how to do this can be found here:
