Are you able to open up the SD card via My Computer and then copy the files to the new location or onto CD?

This may happen if the computer has, for some reason, stopped detecting your cd drive as writer/burner. Its detecting it as read only drive. You may download DeepBurner from http://www.filehippo.com/download_deepburner/ and see if DeepBurner detects your cd drive as writer drive or not.
