Hello Everyone,

I've got two different laptops with the same issues, They're able to connect to the network whether Wireless or on the NIC. They're able to pull IP and even ping any website, But, No matter what internet browser I use, I cannot access any webpages whatsoever. I've tested with both laptops and they appear to be having identical issues, one is a 2006 Dell latitude 9000 ( I think) and the other is a HP Pavillion dv2000.

If you guys have seen this at all or if you have any idea what might be causing this , please let me know.

Thanks,

Does this phenomenon occur when each machine is on on its own ?

They connect to the network but are they actually on- line?

Do the pages 'pull up' but decline to display?

If by on on its own you mean seperate from each other, then yes, because they have never been online together.

They are online because they can ping and tracert to anything I want, and can also connect to other computers on the network.

It doesn't even appear to try to load anything, no matter what you do it goes straight to Page cannot be displayed.

I've checked the host files, firewall settings, I've done virus/spyware/malware/rootkit scans, and nothing harmful is on either.

Anything you can think of?

Oh, that's what you meant by ticked. No it is not ticked... I've already done basic troubleshooting, I came here because everything I've tried is not working...
