I have been infected with this spyware after i used veohtv downloaded from 66stage.com. It causes advertisement pop-ups, voice only advertisements(which are strange like as though the computer is talking to you), and lots of funny process trying to connect to my DNS and i always block it via Norton internet security 2007. I have downloaded all the necessary anti-spywares but they are not able to detect this. I dont even know what the spyware is as its so silent and i can only see the process r45htpab.exe at task manager. My pc has slowed tremendously and my IE browser shuts down after a while automatically. Im using flock but i cant access my yahoo mail. I ran combo fix and it detected the r45htpab.exe. i kill the process for temporary relief but some time later it spawns again. My laptop is behaving erratically. I need serious help. I have been with this for almost a week.

I am new to this forum. i read the rules of the forum and i have followed by it.please let me know if you need more information. I have attached the hijackthis1.log file. Thank you in advance. It probably looks like a zero day attack !

I apologise for the delay the forum is busy.

If you still need help, post a new HijackThis following my instructions below.

Did you remove it?
If not do it.

Using Windows Explore by right-clicking the Start button and left clicking Explore navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe

Right-click on HijackThis.exe & select Rename to scanner.exe and post back a new Hijackthis log.

Post it properly, and not as attachment please.
No attachments unless i ask.
