Hi. Even though I've worked with computers for the last 10 years there are still times when the things just won't work as they should. Hope someone out there can sort some of my problems and hope I can help with others. Before you ask, my nickname was given to me about 35 years ago by a friend who'd read a book called 'Skimble-shanks, the railway cat'. He thought it was highly amusing.

As complex an activity as computing is, and it seems to become more complicated each year;consequently, no one can possibly be an expert in all areas, skimble, or have personally experienced (and hopefully solved) every possible problem. Here at BC, users share areas of expertise and knowledge with one another, so don't hesitate to ask for help or, in turn, make a contribution toward helping someone else.
