Internet Shut down

:thumbsup: When I close a internet window I get kicked off the internet. I have DSL, but it is a real drag to start over. Can anyone help or had this problem.

Do you use Internet Explorer?

Yes, I use Internet Explorer. If I get a pop-up when on a web site and click on the X to close the pop-up my internet shuts down. When on my e-mail site if I click send my internet shuts down.

Check your connection settings in IE, and make sure its not set to disconnect when you close IE.

Where do I find the connections settings for IE. I may have looked at it and not know what I needed to look for. I can get around the computer pretty good, but don't know all I need to.

Internet Options in Control Panel then Connection Tab. Its somewhere in there I just forgot where as I do not have dial up.
