In the last few days we have started to have some issues. The computer has been running slow, many more popups, internet explorer will randomally close, etc. Today we had a issue with fake Spyware which was mentioned in an earlier thread. It displays a red circle in the toolbar with a white X. Also, when I open Internet Explorer it will give me an message saying I have viruses and sometimes doesn't let me get to the page I need/want to.

I read the thread with all the instructions and ran through everything. Ran adaware, Spybot, and everything else. My computer actually seems to be running better. However, internet explorer has still closed randomally a few times while trying to get to this page. I was hoping to get a quick it checked out so that I'm sure I got rid of everything I can. I'm sure there's still some stuff. Help!

Thanks in advance for any help/advice given!

Urgent update!!!

Once I posted this thread my computer won't let me back to bleepingcomputer.com anymore. It takes me directly to a google search page. There are a lot of pop ups. I am writing this from a blackberry because I can't get to your site.

It seems to block certain sites. Do u see anything in my report above that this could be? How can I delete what ever issue it is that will not let me get to the website?

Note - my wallpaper was also changed to a screen stating something about my computer being infected with a link to click.
