Hello everyone, first time poster here. i read stickies before i started posting so i hope im not postin what im not supposed to or missing information if so, sorry no harm meant. anyways the computer has been acting up and i believe it is spyware infected or of that sort. i already did a virus scan, spyware scan by various programs. the last scan i have done is by HijackThis, the log is posted below. i have logs by other ones like avg spyware, malware bytes, and combofix. i can post upon request since it is not allowed unless asked to here.
Symptoms: the problems i have been havin with the computer is that it has been freezing at times, slow boot, slow opening/closing of programs, when browsing i get popups of antivirus 2009 and other ones, i get low virtual memory warnings, at times it will boot into safe mode and others it will freeze at "Mup.sys" and restart by itself. i hope some of you guys can help me sort it since i really don wan to do a complete format/reinstall of xp on this comp. thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer, please be sure you have read and followed the
Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log, Instructions for receiving help in cleaning your computer
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/
All advice given is taken at your own risk.

I apologize for the wait, if your issues are not resolved, read the instructions posted above and then follow the directions below. If you no longer need help, I would appreciate a quick post letting me know so I can close your topic.

I am surprised MBAM and combofix did not clean this infection. I do not see anything in the HJT log except an obsolete malware program. If you still need help, let's start like this.

1) C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5\ <<< uninstall this obsolete program in Add Remove programs.
http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download-avg-an...nd-anti-rootkit

2) Restart and post a new HJT log. Describe any symptoms and post any error message you receive word for word.

Thanks
