how do i stop wuauclt.exe from flashing up on my desktop

If it's a valid Windows Update file...I would guess that turning off automatic updates would stop it.

1.click start
2.click run>> services.msc
3.look Autmatic updates
4.double-click Autmatic updates >> stop and disabled
5.Apply and OK
