Last night I started getting this message in a bubble box on my taskbar.
"Windows has detected spyware infection. It is recommended to use special anti-spyware tools to prevent data loss. Windows will now download and install the most up to date anti spyware for you"
I'm not silly enough to click on it, however I can't get rid of the little bugger. I have run AVG scan on it and it can find the files but not delete them itself. I have found the folders with the files in on my system and tried to delete them manually but no luck.
I think it has also blocked my access to the task manager.
I have read other posts on this problem on this forum and others yet there does not seem to be a universial fix for it, it seems people need to be talked through step-by-step. Can anyone help me shift it?
Thanks to any suggestions.
