Usb storage problem

Hello Members. I have a usb flash Disk which i had saved my work on it. After some times i try to open documents in it it show there are no files or folders. when i check on the properties, the flash disk is half full. I dont know what kind of virus might have infected it. Pls give ur solution on how to overcome this.
