 Good Afternoon!

On my laptop firefox 3 used to remember my passwords, but it no longer does. Even for new websites that require passwords the "Remember Password" indicator no longer comes up. I have gone to tools, then options, then security and my "remember passwords" is checked and in the exceptions box there aren't any websites. My question is how do I get firefox to have the "remember password" indicator to come up so that I don't have to type in all my passwords?

Thank you and have a nice day!

This is an issue with Firefox 3.0.2 :flowers: see: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/cannot...grading+Firefox

Upgrading to 3.0.3 is the fix

Quoting from http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=39004.0

"The patch that meant to patch a problem with Fx 3.0.3 only seems to be partially helping...
On Bugzilla various users complain that the 3.0.3. update does not work for them. They cannot save passwords, and also the saved password list is empty. A manual solution that works is to add a new password and to restart Fx. "This work-around solves the problem."

If the above doesn't work for you, reverting to the earlier firefox version that worked for you and saved passwords, may be the only solution until this gets fixed.
