This was listed in the Hidden Files section of WinPatrol Plus. It says it might be a Trojan or connected to QuickTime or Itunes. I do have Quick Time installed but not Itunes and hardly ever use QuickTime.

Does anyone know how I might verify if this file is legitimate.

cardlady47,

A google search returns nothing on that file name, so no help there. Are you sure of the spelling on the file name?

You can upload the suspicious file to a service called VirusTotal http://www.virustotal.com/ and get a report from 30 plus anti-virus engines as to whether the file is malicious.

More information on virustotal and similar sites can be found in this thread: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...;hl=virus+total
