First, I would like to say hello and thanks for anyone/everyone that posts in this thread.

Second, let me give you a bit of background of my problem.

I downloaded Truecrypt to encrypt some of my folders since I am on a family computer. I installed etc. etc. then rebooted like the installation said too. After I logged in, I noticed my laptop was acting different and I could not start up anything, not even IE (with no addons), or firefox. I keep getting a 0xc000012d error and other errors like it. I would get error messages everytime I clicked something. I would post what they said, but they were all blank, and I could only click 'Ok'. Also, I have already ran many anti-virus/spyware-etc scans, came up with nothing on everyone (around 7-8 different scans). I have spent the past 3 hours google searching solutions and this is my last resort before just reinstalling Vista. I don't want to reinstall because of what I have saved, but I have no choice.

I am normally very good about finding remedies to my own problems, but this one is a problem I can not fix, so this is where, hopefully, you guys/gals come in.

I apologize for the wait, if your issues are not resolved, read the instructions posted above and then follow the directions below. If you no longer need help, I would appreciate a quick post letting me know so I can close your topic.

1) Follow these directions to run MBAM:

2) Include a new HJT log in Normal Mode run after the MBAM scan.

3) Tell me how the computer is running now.
