i tried to delete the virus from my computer through running combofix.exe . after restarting the laptop , its shows error , boot sector file is missing . couldnt start laptop .

please help

quite nicely maybe explains the reason why you now have problems more than when you first started

you may wish to start a fresh thread and explain what symptoms you were experiencing that made you beleive you were infected, by what, and what scans you ran to try to clean the computer?

Hello.

Did you have the Recovery Console installed? Do you have your installation disk?

What operating system were you using?
