Is rise.exe a problem, and how do I remove it if so?

Every time I boot up this dell 1525 inspiron, I get a window showing an app called rise. I wonder what kind of malware this might be, and how to remove it. Or if it is a problem, how to solve it. Vista OS, and nothing else special....

Do you play Rise of Nations, or have you tried to install a cracked copy of it?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

no, I haven't tried that game, I am an Everquest person, on yet another computer.

I'd suggest submitting it to http://virusscan.jotti.org for analysis

has anyone every been able to explain this? Its not the game but some kind of utility program
