Hello, great forum!

I sincerely searched on this forum for an answer to this question before asking so I apologize if this has been asked to death... but...

I just purchased a laptop with Vista for business use at home and I want to be able to switch back and forth between the laptop and the desktop. Mostly regarding e-mail and various files I may save such as bookmarks or .txt files with minimal info.

Is there a way to link the computers so that I can access the same Outlook program from both computers or at least the same messages in the program. I would imagine that the Outlook program on each computer would access the messages files from the same folder.... ? Same with bookmarks, keep them in a shared folder and have Firefox point to that folder on each computer, correct? Same with my little .txt files I create... ?

So... how do I do that? Is there a site that has step by step info to tell me exactly how to do it? I have tried searching for it, but don't even know what it is called... Searching 'connecting laptop to desktop to access e-mail on both computers' doesn't come up with much...

Thanks for the help. I truly appreciate it.
