I always get two alertbox shutdown messages when I shut down my computer. I can't remember when this started, but I've been unable to find out what the problem is. The issue was much worse when I had Windows Desktop Search 3.0 installed; uninstalling it made the problem better, but I still have these 2 alertboxes that come up.

From the eventlog, the text of each is:

Application popup: Google Talk: googletalk.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x10073670" referenced memory at "0x10073670". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program

Application popup: vsjitdebugger.exe - DLL Initialization Failed : The application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled googletalk, but still have the problem. Any suggestions appreciated.

For the first error, I'd uninstall Google Talk and then download a fresh copy if you want to reinstall it.

For the second error, I'd uninstall the Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger and then download a fresh copy if you want to reinstall it.
