My computer has been massively infected by god knows what and how many, but I do know that originally it had only been trojan.blusod and joke.blusod that I thought was gone after I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes. Although I thought I was in the clear, the problem only got worse when all the text on my computer suddenly disappeared leaving just the icons intact, which, whenever I place my arrow on one before trying to open it, displays a blank box that stretches out to infinity (not really but I would have to drag it to the left for a very long time before locating the close button on the upper right hand side). Whenever I try to open up a program, if it does manage to run I am unable to take any course of action because every dialogue box displaying information or options are blank. The only programs I am able to access are the ones attached to the left most side of the Start menu, but the right side where Control Panel, Run, My Computer, would be is completely blacked out and inaccessible. I ran the gamut of antivirus programs AVG, Symantec, and right before the problem occurred I downloaded Avira which makes me wonder if there might be a connection. AVG and Symantec both found no infections on my computer, Malwarebytes, too, after it got rid of the Blusod trojan doesn't find threats when I perform a full scan. Avira on the other hand has randomly detected TR/Drop.Softomat.AN trojan and TR/Trash.Gen trojan, but I am unable to do anything because the only thing displayed is the name of the infection while everything else is blank. The only thing I am able to use is my Mozilla internet browser, which doesn't seem to have been effected yet, but since the text is missing throughout my computer everything else is inaccessible. I was able to find a way to access Hijackthis, which also has no text when I ran it, but luckily the results appeared on notepad which I'm pasting below.

I really do hope someone can help me with this problem it's really exasperating. Thank you.

Hi Iago85,

Welcome to Bleeping Computers

My name is Tomk_. I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can take a while to research, so please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:
  • I will be working on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for the issues on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  • It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference.
  • If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to say or ask!! It's better to be sure and safe than sorry.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
  • Unfortunately, if I do not hear back from you within 5 days, I will be forced to close your topic. If you still need help after I have closed your topic, feel free to create a new one.
I apologize for the delay in response. We get overwhelmed at times but we are trying our best to keep up.
If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate your letting us know. If not, please post a new HijackThis log so that we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.
