Hi All,

I have muiltiple questions here. First of, my computer hard drive crashed which requied me to start new with a new hard drive. I am running XP Profesional 3.0 GHz with 2 gig ram, IDE hard drive.

I am now reloading software and some are giving me problems. I need to load a FLEXlm license and I need to find out what my HOST ID number is and port. Now, when I check my system, it gives me a Host ID of 00-00-00-00-00-00. Looking on the net I discovered that if I have nothing but zeros, it means that my ether net is not enabled. How do I get a real Host ID and port numbers? How to I enable the ether net. The port on my old drive was 7788.

I should also mention that I have a 2-wire modem and I have SBC DLS. When I loaded up the new XP, the internet worked without having to reload the SBC back up disc. I am supposed to load the back up disc?

Thanks, I hope someone can help me out with this FLEXlm stuff.
