I restored my computer it froze during installation and I looked on the internet I found a fix through the enable vga mode..

I finally got to the screen to put in the xp code I got all that done, booted up got to the owner part and when I click it it says activate windows so I click ok... and that screen never loads.. and I can't do anything

does anyone have a solution to this?

one of my friends may have a windows xp pro disk would that work just to reboot it over again with the serial code on the computer?

Is this a retail unit such as a Dell or Gateway? What disk were you originally trying to install, recovery disk or a Windows XP disk?
What was originally on the machine, Home or Pro?
