Installing games onto a data key (USB)

i've got a 2G USB Key and i want to put Guild wars on it so i can just lanch it f they key but i can't seem to do it every time i try to do a normal install i have registry issues

any ideas

I'm pretty sure this may be almost impossible, if not entirely impossible. When you install a game, it also installs some items into your computer's registry. So, if you install something onto a pen drive, then take it to another computer missing these registry entries, it won't run.

Now, the only thing I can think of is if you put these certain registry files onto the pen drive also, then put them on the computer before trying to run the game, maybe it would work. I'm not very sure of this though.

I have done this with world of warcraft on an exturnal USB drive. Worked fine for all machines I put it on. Sup for I had to chanege resolution size going from machine to machine due to the Personal Screen size. other then that. Data streams off the External Just fine.. I'd experiment with it. See if it works. If not.. Nothing really lost? Most data is stored on the server right?

i tried it but when ever i laoded it, it syaed it needed to install it on the computer again ??

a mate of mine said try getting a highg speed USB Key and aparntly that makes the diffrence??

any ideas?
