For some reason, when i put on my headset, when im playing counter-strike, if someone is on my left and is running, it sounds like its coming from my right and vice-versa. How do i fix this? It's a brand new headset and i put it on the right way because the mic can only go one way.

it ever happen with other headsets or speakers? Does it happen in any other apps? Try something for me. Open up a mp3 or avi or something with sound, plug in your headphones. Open up the volume control *in your system tray by the clock unless you got rid of it* Under "Master Volume" there's a slider that says balance. Pull it all the way to one side and see if the sound goes to the correct ear.
