Hi vubu,

My laptop gets real warm in places too.

Your Dell may have several cooling fans. Make sure that you aren't resting your laptop on your lap  or other surface where those fans are obstructed. Be sure to check to make sure each fan starts when you turn the laptop on - they may only stay on for a second. With newer laptops, those fans may turn on and stay on, or toggle on and off as needed by your computer.

If you have a fan problem, give Dell a call ASAP. Heat can cause components to fail prematurely and may cause your laptop to shutdown.

Good Luck,
