here's my dilema.i've installed the latest Java version,& when i go to this site,InternetFrog.com to test my connection speed, it runs fine in my Mozilla Firefox,& KMeleon browsers.& i can check my speed.
however, when i try to check it in IEPRO 7,i get a notice saying'java is required to run this speed test'.
i went to the control panel,add/remove programs,& i have a bunch of java versions, updates etc.by the way,i have dowloaded & installed the latest version.i've been to various trouble shooting sites ,& where it says 'you should see whatever, all i can see is a gray box with a red x in the corner.
i've checked all the boxes in tools/internet options/advanced in IEPRO 7,configured my firewall.Comodo, still no luck.
why does it run in the two other browsers, but not IEPRO 7?
should i remove all the previous versions,or is this a known problem in IEPRO 7?

The latest java is Version 6 Update 7.
You can safely uninstall all the other versions.
They are unnecessary at this point.

thanks for your reply.
i've deleted all my previous Java downloads, all i have listed in the add/remove panel is as listed:
Java™6 update 7
Java 2 Runtime Environment SE v.1.4.2_03
Java™SE Environment 6 Update 1
still cant get it to run in IEPRO 7,though it still runs in the other 2 browsers.
any ideas?
