My machine is getting the best of me !

I thought that I would eventually fix this, but that is easier said than done.

Especially without an install disk, I guess it isn't impossible,

So, I'm getting desperate ! I found Error Smart and would like to know, . . . before I pay the twenty dollars and feel like a real fool afterwards, . . . would you use it ?

I mean its not really the twenty dollars, . . it's not that it might mess up my PC, it can't get any worse !

Your comments and advice will be valued !

Yep, I have it, I ran it last night,I still have been having BSOD and Internet crashes like galore !

I was thinking the last time I used it, it does do some reg, changes, I believe, I am just not needing to make things worse.

I have Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox, 3.01 or 2, and I am thinking there may be a conflict, I also see that my Outlook Express is somehow tied into to I.E. and I have the feeling that all three are in conflict.

Why not run a system repair? You don't lose anything except the updates depending on your version of xp on the xp disk. SP2 or SP3. About 80 updates to SP2. SP3 incorporates all the SP2 updates.
