Hello. I am PropagandaPanda (Panda or PP for short), and I will be helping you with your log.

I apologize for the delay in response. We get overwhelmed with logs at times, but we are trying our best to keep up. If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If you still need help, post a new HijackThis log.

You may want to keep the link to this topic in your favourites. Alternatively, you can click the Posted Image button at the top bar of this topic and Track this Topic, where you can choose email notifications. The topics you are tracking are shown here.

Please take note of some guidelines for this fix:
  • Refrain from making any changes to your computer including installing/uninstall programs, deleting files, modifying the registry, and running scanners or tools. Doing so could cause changes to the directions I have to give you and prolong the time required. Further more, you should not be taking any advice relating to this computer from any other source throughout the course of this fix.
  • If you do not understand any step(s) provided, please do not hesitate to ask before continuing. I would much rather clarify instructions or explain them differently than have something important broken.
  • Even if things appear to be better, it might not mean we are finished. Please continue to follow my instructions and reply back until I give you the "all clean". We do not want to clean you part-way, only to have the system re-infect itself.
  • Finally, please reply using the Posted Image button in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Do not start a new topic. The logs that you post should be pasted directly into the reply. Only attach them if requested or if they do not fit into the post.
Run Scan with Kaspersky
Please do a scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner. If for some reason you cannot complete this scan, skip it.

This scan is for Internet Explorer Only.

If you are using Windows Vista, open your browser by right-clicking on its icon and select Run as administrator to perform this scan.

  • Please disable your realtime protection software before proceeding. Refer to this page if you are unsure how.
  • Open the Kaspersky Scanner page.
  • Click on Accept and install any components it needs.
  • The program will install and then begin downloading the latest definition files.
  • After the files have been downloaded on the left side of the page in the Scan section select My Computer
  • This will start the program and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while, so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete, click on View scan report
  • Now, click on the Save Report as button.
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.
You can refer to this animation by sundavis.

This scanner will only scan. It does not remove any malware it finds.

Post back with:
-the Kaspersky log
-a new HijackThis log

Please also tell me of any changes you have made to your computer since your topic was started.

If you do not make a reply in 5 days, we will need to close your topic.

With Regards,
The Panda

Important Note to Other Users Reading this Topic: The instructions provided in this topic below this point are for the original topic starter only. Even if you have similar problems or log entries to those given here, please do not follow the directions, especially those involving specific tools and scripts. Doing so can result in serious damage to your computer. Instead, please start your own topic. Feel free to link to any relevant topics as needed.

Hello hua91.

There is no malware on your machine that I can see.

However, something is definately wrong with your AVG installation. Some of its components are missing.

I suggest you uninstall it using Add/Remove Programs, then install a new Antivirus. After installing, update the database, run a full system scan and remove any items found.

Tell me if the slowness was gone while AVG was uninstalled.

You have several antimalware programs running: Ad-Aware, SpywareTerminator, Spybot. This increases your protection, but it will also drag down your computer. I suggest that you try uninstalling Ad-Aware and ST.

If you are having slowness, then I would just have one antivirus and one other antispyware.

Post back a new HijackThis log.

With Regards,
The Panda

And.. i didn't use Spyware Terminator..

Sorry, I mean SuperAntiSpyware.

What firewall are you using? I didn't see one in your log.

Post a new HijackThis log when you are done installing please.

Hello hua91.

Click on your Start Menu, then Run, then type: "services.msc". Double click the entry "Windows Firewall". Make sure the startup type is "Automatic". If you had to change the setting, make sure you click "Apply".

By the way, the effectiveness of RAM optimizers are in debate. From what I know, there is no significant improvement in performance from running them. I suggest that you uninstall Free RAM Optimizer.

Is the slowness still there? Was it there when AVG was uninstalled?

With Regards,
The Panda

Hello hua91.

There's still something left to try. We could do a reset on your IE. This will restore the default settings and disable all add-ons.

If you want to give it a try...:
  • Open your IE.
  • Click on Tools>Internet Options>Advanced.
  • There you will see an option to reset your IE. Click Reset and asnwer yes to the prompts.
  • Restart IE.
Note that the details might be slightly different for IE8.

Tell me if it improved things. If it did not, we still need to re-enable the add-ons.

With Regards,
The Panda

Hello Panda,i had just reset my IE8,and it better now.I think there is a bug for IE? When it start i will sure lag for a while(sometimes quite long) before i can use it.

Thanks for your great help, now i feel that my computer more smooth after i unstalled my AVG yesterday, but something quite annoying,is there anyway to make my SuperAntispyware don't make my computer too lag when my computer start?

Hello hua91.

Fix HijackThis Entries
This will sop SAS from starting. It doesn't need to start automatically because it doesn't provide realtime protection. It can be restored later if needed.
  • Double click the HijackThis icon on your desktop.
  • Close all other open windows.
  • Select Do a System Scan Only.
  • Wait a few moments for the list to be compiled.
  • To the left of each entry you will see a check box. Check the box next to the following entries:

    O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SUPERAntiSpyware] C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe

If you no longer see some of the entries, don't worry. It is possible that the uninstaller or removal tool already took care of it. If it is marked " (file missing) ", put a check mark next to its box anyways.
  • Close all open windows except HijackThis.
  • Click Posted Image and OK at the prompt.
  • The screen will clear itself.
  • Close out of HijackThis.

Please post a new HijackThis log.

With Regards,
The Panda

This is my new HijackThis log.

Hmm. i have a doubt, actually if i close SuperAntispyware, will it still protect me from being Hijack? I see Preference there have a Hijack Protection Option.

Something strange happened. When i Click On Fix Check,
After it clear my screen turn all black. And all my Icons and my start Menu was disappeared
Then my computer restarted itself.

Hello.

Something strange happened. When i Click On Fix Check,
After it clear my screen turn all black. And all my Icons and my start Menu was disappeared
Then my computer restarted itself.

Ahh... SAS's was running at the time. It saw that it's startup entry had been removed, and decided to restore it. It seems like we can't remove the startup entry without uninstalling SAS completely.

Personally, I don't feel you will need SAS's protection. SpyBot's TeaTimer is much more powerful.

Is the slowness still happening?

With Regards,
The Panda

Hmm.. Actually before this i am using Spybot Teatimer but my computer still keep infected by virus. Many trojans invaded my computer although i was using AVG Internet Security.
Therefore, can you please tell me which Antivirus is the best antivirus?

My computer now feel better, and it faster than before this.

Hmm.. is SAS provide Hijack protection even it does not start at Startup.

And is my computer clear now? please tell me,because my computer needed to use to online payment all my house electric, water, telephone bill and etc by using credit cards,we quite afraid that credits card information may be stealed by malware during payment
