im getting this error msg when im trying to select windows XP theme like this

right now my current theme is windows classic. even when im trying to select new thems then also its not taking and showing the same theme windows classic.

so please help me in this

It sounds like you might want to do a few scans for viruses

I'd suggest one of these free online scans to ensure that you're not infected:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)

there is no virus in the system i did scanning .every thing working fine except this

I have had that problem once or twice. DEP is used to slow viruses down, As long as the system is clean you can disable DEP.

1. Right click My Computer and select Properties
2. On the new window select the Advanced tab
3. In the performance section click settings
4. Select the Data Execution Prevention tab.
5. Select the Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only.
6. Click OK. You may need to restart after.
