One of my coworkers recently tried to load IE. He has Yahoo as his home page. It began opening up dozens of new tabs, all at the login page of Yahoo.

I've scanned with Nortons, but found nothing. I'm actually in the middle of scanning with an online scanner posted in another topic here. ESET So far it's found nothing.

Any ideas what it might be or how to resolve it?

Hello poolturtle,

The event viewer may give some more information.

1. Click Start select run
2. Type eventvwr.exe
3. Press enter
4. Search through the groups for errors and warnings.
5. Double click on each error and or warning.
6. Locate the copy to clipboard button, Posted Image (under the two arrows)
7. Let us know what you find. (paste the results)

Also to be safe I would run some free online virus scanners.
