Battlfield 2142: Serious Error

Hey guys
I'v come here on seek of some helpfull information.

I have just been to GAME and got Battlefield 2142, and i have updated it though xfire, i then bought the expation pack from EA online,
I ran the game, The game shuts down as soon as i as 1sec from entering. To me it seems like my computer is having a problem with compatability problems. if i run the game as XP as i am usin vista Then the whole game dont run at all when the came is clerly in the cd drive

I am overclocking atm at 10% and i have been for 2-3 months, My computer runs most games... Well somethin like age of mythology and
Command and conquer Generals. Also it runs fine with Wow and all them on full video settings.
I am completly lost in what a app crash is, So any of you would like to make a sugestion on what the best thing for me to do

I made a brand new account on my pc called BF 2142, nothin :/

Im not an expert in this area, but I think the admin staff here will probubly move this over to Games. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
