I am currently using a 54Mbps router (qwest dsl) and connect wirelessly via laptop. I live in a large house and the office is upstairs. I would like to be able to use the laptop outside but the signal strength is minimal at best. I have been looking into indoor antennas to strengthen and lengthen the signal, any suggestions? I know nothing about them, but i would like to have a strong signal to work with in the end. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What kind of wireless router is it?

They may make repeaters which extend the signal.
