Internet Explorer Error Messages

Please re-locate if this post is in the wrong place

I have been trying all week to install my sling box software on my new laptop running vista, I talked to sling media, showed them these error messages and they say this is beyond their support, and to contact my Computer manufacturer etc etc etc... these message pop up when I am in the setup assistant

Does anyone know what these mean and if there is something I can do to resolve them??? Please see a screen shot of the 2 different message i been getting
