Dvd Rw ?

Hi guys..im curious how do i know what my dvd rw drive for Burn or Write or Both ?

burning is pretty much the same thing as writing. But yes, if its working right, it can read and write.

Just to add, look at the front of the drive, you should be able to see its features there.

...and you can always look up the specs for that particular model on the Web. The specs will list all the features of that model drive.

If it's a preinstalled drive on a system, the specs should still list all pertinent details.

Just for clarification purposes. a DVD ROM drive will only read DVDs and CDs. A DVD+-R drive will read DVDs CDs and also burn DVD R disks. A DVD RW drive will read both types, burn DVDRs and also can burn RWs (re-writable) if it has DL it can read (and possibly write to) dual-layer DVDs.

Another option would be to download SIW and go to the Storage Devices under the Hardware section. It will tell the make and model as well as whether it is DVD-RW or a DVD-ROM...

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

All i saw on my dvd section was :

DVD multi recorder

RW DVD+R DL

Compact Disc ReWritable Ultra Speed .


Dunno this enough infos ?
