Hi, my pc often goes on a system halt while booting. it has win vista business edition installed and a blue screen of death appears when booting. The system then grinds to halt and this is repeated for lyk 3 reboots after which it boots normally. There is an error msg with wording "Dumping memory..........." sumthin' that appears on the blue screen. Can ne1 hlp me solve this problem.
pc specs:Pentium D3.0g , 3gig ram, Getforce 7300

Please write down the Stop Codes/ Error Codes here so that we can research the issue. Yoou may also do this yourself by using google and reporting the
results here. This will help US, to help You.

Hi, Ive listed the Error codes below..

Technical info. PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
STOP: 0X0000004E(0X0000009A,0X000BDD08,0X00000006,0X00000002)
initializing disk for crash dump.
Beggining dump of physical memory
Dumping of physical memory

Disable caching of memory.

The two most likely causes for this are bad RAM or corrupted drivers.

So, the first step would be to run the Vista Memory Diagnostic tool. Here's a link to the tutorial: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/using-vista-windows-memory-diagnostics-tool/
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
