Ok, my HP computer started locking or freezing up when I would go up on to the internet. This started about a month and a half ago. Acessing my my files or emails was not an issue but now it is starting to become one. A friened of mine, the person who told me about you came up to try to help me. He thinks it is a nasty virus. We down loaded a free AVG virus scan and it came up with some stuff, and I put it into the vault, it did not give me an option to take it out. But anyway, it is getting worse and now I notice when I go up on to my emails it is starting to flow. The wierd thing is is that I can go to the internet through an email, but not to many pages in. For instance I accessed you on the HP and then went on to the internet to do what I am doing now to see how far it would take me and when I clicked on to the third page it started freezing up. I have saved all of the files I want to save on that commputer. Can you help me? Daughter

Hi .

I suggest you just copy your post here...and move it to BleepingComputer.com - Am I infected What do I do - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/

They'll help with the suspected infection and provide guidance that you won't receive in this XP forum.
