I have a computer where I work and it uses windows 2000 pro. When trying to play a video on media player it plays. I have used a registry cleaner, and it cleaned up some files, but it still plays to fast. I have unistalled it and reinstalled it this helped for a bit then it did it again. I am not sure what else to do, I think its the latest version of media player.

Thanks for your help

I would suspect that it is a problem with codecs
You might find more solutions in our video and Audio forum. I'll move you there

Hello Jewelsofga,

Is this windows media player and what version is it?

If so try opening the view menu then opening the enhancements section. In this section you should be able to navigate to the play speed settings.
